FUNCTIONS
- Manages the implementation of approved Soil Erosion and Flood Control Projects;
- Responds to National Emergencies as they relate to Soil Erosion and Flood Control;
- Prepares Memoranda for Federal Executive Council (FEC)/Ecological Project Office Tender Board (EPOTB) on award of contracts for SEFC projects;
- Liaises with all States and Federal Government Agencies on Soil and Flood Control issues;
- Project Office Tender Board (EPOTB) on award of contracts for SEFC projects; Liaises with all States and Federal Government Agencies on Soil and Flood Control issues;
- Performs other duties incidental to supporting EPO related needs;
- Liaises with other departments in carrying out general functions of the office;
- Assessment and evaluation of requests relating to Soil Erosion and Flood Control for EPO Nationwide; and
- Monitoring and Evaluation of the implementation of approved Soil Erosion and Flood Control Projects Nationwide.
